Every child is one caring adult away from becoming a success story.

Sometimes, that adult is a teacher. Sometimes, it’s a coach, a mentor, a neighbor—or a Kiwanis volunteer who simply shows up and says, “I believe in you.”

For more than a century, Burbank Kiwanis members have been those caring adults. Through youth leadership programs, community partnerships, and hands-on service, we help children discover their potential and realize their community is behind them.

You don’t need special credentials. You don’t need unlimited free time. You just need a willingness to make a difference.

One conversation. One encouraging word. One afternoon of service.

Sometimes, that’s all it takes to change a child’s story.

Be that adult. Join Burbank Kiwanis.

For more information, call (818) 903-4451.

A stronger Burbank begins when children know their community cares.

That belief is at the heart of everything we do at the Kiwanis Club of Burbank.

Whether we’re supporting youth programs, partnering with local organizations, helping families, encouraging young leaders, or simply showing up when our community needs us, our goal is the same: to make a positive difference in the lives of children.

But strengthening Burbank isn’t something any one organization can do alone. It happens when neighbors, businesses, schools, nonprofits, parents, grandparents, veterans, retirees, and community leaders decide that helping children is everyone’s responsibility.

That’s where Kiwanis comes in.

We bring people together who want to turn caring into action. And you don’t need unlimited free time or special skills to make a difference. Sometimes it starts with volunteering for one project, sharing an idea, making an introduction—or joining us for lunch and learning what Kiwanis is all about.

Because when children grow up knowing their community believes in them, supports them, and wants them to succeed, all of Burbank becomes stronger.

Want to help us build that kind of community? Come meet us. There’s a place for you at the Kiwanis Club of Burbank. For more information call (818) 903-4451.

A stronger community starts with showing up.

Burbank is at its best when neighbors step forward to help children thrive. That is what Kiwanis is about: local people combining their time, ideas, and connections to create opportunities for young people.

Sometimes service looks like a major project.

Sometimes it is a conversation, a meal, a backpack, or a child discovering that an adult believes in them.

Follow our page and we will show you the people and partnerships behind that work—and a few easy ways you can take part.

Stronger Together. Better Together.

One of the things I’ve learned through years of community service is that no organization has to do everything by itself.

In fact, some of the best things happen when organizations with a shared purpose decide to work together.

That’s what I see happening with the Kiwanis Club of Burbank K-Kids and the Boys & Girls Club of Burbank and the Greater East Valley.

We may be two different organizations, but we share something important: a commitment to helping children grow into confident, caring and capable young people.

And that’s why this partnership makes so much sense.
