Hello Pender County Residents!
The Pender County Republican Party has some exciting news as we head towards our County Convention this Saturday (March 14th).
Precinct Chairs - We have appointed four new Precinct Chairs. With these appointments, all 12 Pender County precincts now have Precinct Chairs! Having representation in all of our precincts has been a long time goal shared by myself and our past two Republican Party Chairmen, Norm Gopsil and the late Bob Muller. This will be extremely helpful in ensuring our polls are staffed for the 2026 general election.
The four newly appointed Precinct Chairs are:
Kenny Ramsey - Burgaw Precinct
Max Beckwith - Malpass Corner Precinct
Charles Schoonmaker- Penderlea Precinct
Ken Jones Jr - Upper Holly Precinct
Thank you to these four individuals volunteering to serve our County!
PC GOP Vice Chair - Your Pender County Republican Party is also in search for a new Vice Chair. We are looking to fill this role by the end of April.
The Vice Chair of your local Republican Party plays a critical role in the organization, acting as Chair in the absence of the Chairman and serving as an "Exofficio" Member of all County Committees.
The Vice Chair will be elected by the Pender County Republican Party's Executive Committee.

Lynn will confirm receipt of your email. If you do not hear back from Lynn within 48hrs. please follow up with Lynn and include the Pender County GOP in your email ([email protected]).
Cover letters/Resumes are due by noon on Monday, March 23, 2026.
The Pender County Republican Party will distribute the resumes to the Executive Committee and schedule an Executive Committee meeting. During this Executive Committee meeting all candidates will have an opportunity to address the committee prior to the vote.
The candidate that is chosen as Vice Chair by the Executive Committee will serve until the March 2027 Convention, which is when the Pender County residents vote on our Party's leadership.
