What could be more romantic than volunteering with the one you love? Volunteers badly needed for tonight and tomorrow’s dinner service!

We’ve checked in our inventory and we have a few more critical needs for the week:

🥗🥗 salad greens! We serve salad with every dinner so we go through these quickly!
🍪🍰🧁🥧 dessert! These also get served with every dinner which means we go through 50+ most nights! Fun idea: Gather some friends and flex your baking skills!
🍚5 lb bags of white rice! (This is one of those items we need BIG bags of because we can’t blend types of rice in one big rice cooker.)
🫛🥕 frozen veggies!
🍗10 lbs of boneless, skinless chickenn thighs
🥜🍇🍓 PB & J! (Please opt for the no-stir varieties of peanut butter, the fancy stuff is hard to spread when you’re making 50 sandwiches!)

All of these and lots more items are on our signup- we are so grateful to everyone but especially to thise using the sign up, which helps us plan and anticipate supply needs!

Good morning from the breakfast crew!! We love to send out guests off with the kind of foods that will start their days right, but we are critically low on some of our essential supplies!

🍌bananas
🥄 sugar packets (individual packets)
🍓🍇🍒🍎 SOFT breakfast bars (nutrigrain or similarar)
🍑🍎 fruit cups and pudding
☕️ coffee, cocoa, and cider mixes
🥣 sugary cereals

For dinners we ALWAYS need desserts (cookies, browines, etc) and individually wrapped is best if you’re baking at home 🍪

🧻 paper towels are also an acute need!

We are staying open through Thursday night as the lows will be in the twenties overnight. We're in need of more of our regular supplies, dinner ingredients, and lots and lots of volunteers! The signup will be updated as soon as we know each night's menu, so please keep checking back.

Two updates!

First: there will be a function in the lower level of the church on Sat, Feb 8 (today) We invite donors to either hold off bringing donations until Sun, or bring them to the front door of the church (upstairs). Normal donation hours will resume on Sunday.

Second: running out of ways to say it but the cold is not letting up! We will be open through Thursday night. We will need more volunteers and donations, so please keep checking the IG up as we get everything added!

Hello wonderful community!

The cold weather is continuing and we are staying open through the weekend to keep people safe and warm! This means we're in need of more volunteers and more donated supplies. The forecast will determine if we extend operations further into next week and we will continuously update the signup, so please keep checking in to see what is needed as we get supper menus from our dinner leads. Please check the signup link! We have updated with some critical needs:

‼️‼️‼️ we need men’s underwear and sweat pants in large (XL, XXL, etc) sizes! While we appreciate the donations of single-size pants, stretchy pants will fit more people and will be the most useful for our guests
🥖🥐🥯 dinner rolls! (We have plenty of sliced bakery bread so small, soft rolls would be the best option!)
🍗🍅🥫🌶️ other dinner ingredients!

The weather report shows freezing nights at least through the week. Please check our list and sign up to donate or volunteer if you can.

Good Morning Community!
We will be opening our doors again tonight at 7pm and need your help. In addition to needing volunteers to help welcome and serve our guests today.
We need a few more items for tonight's dinner if you can make a quick trip to the grocery store and bring items between 4:30-5pm please shoot us a note and we will get you the list.

Well, Mr. Freeze has settled in to our region - keeping overnight temperatures unsafe, so we are staying open another few nights. We are so grateful for our community and the support you provide to help us keep people warm overnight.

As usual, we need your help to make it happen.
Please use SignUp (link in the comments) to let us know if you can share a part of your evening or morning helping to welcome our guests in or/and help them get fed in the morning and get supplies to head back out during the daytime. Or if you can help us out with other needed supplies and groceries. We also accept monetary donations if you prefer (link in the comments).

Our biggest need right now is Volunteers, and we will be adding more supplies as needed, so please remember to check back often.

Whatever way you can help is a loving gift to our community. We appreciate this caring community so much.
