"Migrants at a Miami immigration jail were shackled with their hands tied behind their backs and made to kneel to eat food from styrofoam plates “like dogs”, according to a report published [in July 2025] into conditions at three overcrowded south Florida facilities.

The incident at the downtown federal detention center is one of a succession of alleged abuses at jails operated by Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency (Ice) in the state since January, chronicled by the advocacy groups Human Rights Watch, Americans for Immigrant Justice, and Sanctuary of the South from interviews with detainees."

Somebody reposting in a U.S. Libertarian Party group a post from an Australian organization quoting the President of Argentina (Javier Milei). If you wonder why I share so many international things on this “former planning commission chair” page, it’s all interconnected. There are international entities like Atlas Network advancing the same policies all around the world. The crazy bit is some countries actually have libertarians in parliament! Down there in Aotearoa New Zealand one is even deputy prime minister.
