We still have some big apple and plum trees available along with a few cedars and junipers! We also have a few bundles of other varieties for shrubs and trees. Stop by the tree shed in the morning and Finn will cut you a deal.

Drill rentals are picking up so if you are wanting to rent Drills or the landroller call and get on the list! Possibly 2 weeks out on the JD 1590 drills.
While I have your attention lets talk about drill rules:
1: All equipment can't be hauled over 25mph!!!
2: (You break it, you fix it), depending on certain cases, I will help with maintenance like bearings, tires, greasing. Unless you did something to cause the breakage.
3: treat the equipment like your own, if you have it for a few days, grease it, air up a tire if it looks low, if a field is super rough go slower, just small stuff like that.
4: Call Finn if something breaks/happens to the equipment so we can get it back up and running!
5: You need to sign a waiver before renting the equipment.

Lets do our best to keep the drills in good shape!

Gregory County's Conservation District Tree Sale will start on May 25! All trees must Go! We have a few cedars and junipers left with a few bundles of trees and shrubs of all kinds. Still Have a few potted and Big Trees on hand as well!

JD 1590 no till (15ft): $12 per acre
Truax no till (12ft): $15 per acre
Both have a daily charge of $50 per day, with a minimum charge of $100!
Land Roller: $3 per acre, minimum charge of $100
I will also be Tree planting at this time and tree planting takes priority! I will try to answer calls and get back to you ASAP!

Tree planting Season is almost here! Sadly, we didn't have no grant for tree planting...but we can get one for next year!
And here is how:
For you to be part of our cost-share program, I (Finn) will have to visit your tree site, and put together a tree plan.
Tree Plan includes:
types of trees, number of rows, tree spacing, and site preparations, legal description!
For Gregory County to receive a grant, I first need your Tree Plans!
There are a few cost share programs you can choose from, each having different requirements ranging from 1🌳 to 9 rows of trees!
Game Fish & Parks, CRP, and The Conservation Commission Grant!
Trees that don't get cost shared are shelterbelt planted in 10 rated soils, Standalone farmstead shelterbelts (but still let me put a plan together for it), and sites that have not been prepped before the program's deadline!
There is also an option for shelterbelt renovation!
I have a goal to double my tree acres for next year, so please help me out! The sooner the better!
