🎉 BIG NEWS FOR BURKEVILLE! 🚗🚒🏍️

We’ve got an exciting update! Since Burkeville Community Day and the Holiday Committee’s Car Show were scheduled just two weeks apart, we decided—why make everyone choose when we can bring the two together?

We’re combining them into one BIG event:

🚗 BURKEVILLE CAR SHOW & COMMUNITY DAY 🚒
📅 October 3rd
⏰ 11 AM – 4 PM
📍 Burkeville Town Park

Admission is FREE for all spectators!

Show cars will have a small entry fee, with proceeds benefiting the Burkeville Holiday Committee and helping support future community and holiday events.

And now there’s even more to see and do! Come meet your local first responders and get an up-close look at fire trucks, ambulances, emergency vehicles and more.

With the street closed for the event, visitors will be able to freely enjoy the entire area around Town Park and the Town Offices.

The Town of Burkeville and the Burkeville Police Department would like to express our profound gratitude for the amazing sponsors who were able to make this happen!! Luckstone- Burkeville, Simmons Reality, Central Virginia Poultry Cooperative- Burkeville, and Walmart- Blackstone! We were able to assemble 60 bags with various school supply items, separated by age range of prek/kindgergarden, 1-5 grade and 6-12 grade! Make sure you take some time out tomorrow to come out to National Night Out at the Harris Memorial Armory from 4-8! We look forward to seeing you!

🛑Road closure notification! 🛑

The Town of Burkeville would like to notify residents and visitors that the road way connecting Nunnally St and Oak St. will be closed to all traffic from Monday August 10 ,2026 until Thursday August 13,2026 for railroad repair.

No vehicles will be able to pass through this area during this closure. Please plan ahead and use an alternate route.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as this necessary maintenance is completed.
