First, we want to say how grateful we are for the generosity of our community. Your donations help keep food on the tables of local families throughout the year. ❤️

Right now, our pantry shelves are running low. The end of summer is often a difficult time—summer demand has stretched our supply, and we haven’t yet reached the fall food drives that typically help us restock.

Our most-needed items are:

🍝 Spaghetti and pasta sauce
🧀 Macaroni and cheese
🥫 Canned vegetables other than green beans
🫘 Canned beans
🥣 Cereal
🍑 Canned fruit

❤️ Sometimes the words of the people we serve remind us why the “how” matters just as much as the help.

Recently, a client shared her gratitude after Harvest House was able to help her family remain in their home and provide groceries during an incredibly difficult season.

But what stood out most in her message was this:

“During one of the hardest times in my life, your kindness, compassion, and encouragement meant more than you know.”

Food on the table matters. Keeping a family safely housed matters. But so does making sure someone feels seen, encouraged, and cared for while they’re walking through a difficult time.

To everyone who gives, volunteers, partners, prays, and supports Harvest House—you help make moments like this possible. ❤️

📚❤️ MIDWEEK MANNA | Back-to-School Edition

The backpacks are packed, the alarms are set, and the school year is officially underway! 🍎

Now that everyone is settling back into routines, here's a little encouragement for our students, teachers, parents, coaches, administrators, and school staff:

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord…” — Colossians 3:23

Some days will be great. Some days will be hard. Some mornings, just getting everyone out the door deserves a gold star. 😂

Keep showing up. Give your best. Be kind. Encourage someone. And give yourself a little grace along the way. ❤️
