Have you heard about Story Lab at Burley Public Library??

Burley Discovery Museum is holding a free STEM themed class every other Monday from 10:30am-11:30am for children of all ages! We read a story or two based on a specific STEM topic, conduct a scientific experiment or activity, and then let the kids play with our mobile exhibits.

It is with very heavy hearts that we write about the passing of our board Vice President, Erica Kirst. She was enthusiastic, vibrant, intelligent, and incredibly good. She joined the board of directors for Burley Discovery Museum in 2023. She helped coordinate with volunteers, manage our community events, attended board meetings, and encouraged us when things felt overwhelming. Not only was she helpful to us, but she founded the TLC Preschool at the Lutheran Trinity Church in Rupert. She was also a wonderful teacher at John V. Evans for many years. We learned so much from her. We miss our friend and will never forget her.

We regret to inform you that due to unforeseen circumstances, we must cancel the “Be Our Guest” Daddy-Daughter Dance that was scheduled for June 12th.

We understand how disappointing this news may be and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We will fully refund ticket purchases.

Please know that we are committed to creating meaningful and engaging experiences for the Mini-Cassia community. We have more events planned out for later in the year, so keep an eye out for those announcements.
