August. 2026 Deer License Hours:

Aug. 13th: 3-6 pm
17th: 9-12
18th: 10-12
20th:3-6 pm
27th: 5-8 pm
29th: 8-11 am ( Saturday)
31st: 9-12

Remember to update your email addresses.

If your a Landowner (50+) continuous acres you must have tax id information with you if you don’t have it on file already.

Reminder: you get two doe permit choices in limited and two unlimited. We have a map on hand identifying the two areas.

Highlights for Doe permits:
You get 4 choices:
2- in limited DMPS
2- in unlimited DMPS
Be advised 4F is in limited DMP and it is only (High) on first choice. “None” for second choice.
If you harvest and “Report” an Antlerless deer using a DMP in a “Unlimited” WMU you are eligible to have the DMP automatically replaced. (Bonus DMP)

Please note Bow and Muzzle are now “Antlerless only” they are NOT Either S*x anymore.

If you harvest and “Report” an Antlerless deer, using a DMP or Bow/Muzzle Antlerless deer tag you will be eligible to receive a second “Antlered “ Deer Tag

Please make sure you have a good email on file when you buy your tags.

‼️ Pop-up free rabies clinic! 📣

This Friday from 9-11am, we will host a free rabies vaccination clinic at the Westford Fire Department in response to a recent rabies positive raccoon found in the area.

You do not have to be a resident of Westford to have your pets vaccinated.

A special thank you to the Otsego County Department of Health for providing vaccines for this clinic. Please share to help us spread the word! 🐾💜

Highway Updates:
Paving is done.
Shoulders will be placed in a few weeks followed by Oil & Stone Sealing as scheduling allows.
