* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Southeastern Cheyenne County in east central Colorado...
* Until 700 PM MDT.
* At 556 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 12 miles north of
Brandon, or 14 miles south of Cheyenne Wells, moving south at 10
mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.
* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southeastern Cheyenne County in east central Colorado.
This includes Highway 385 between mile markers 136 and 144.
AFFECTS: Cheyenne, CO
INSTRUCTION: For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
This thunderstorm is producing accumulating hail, which will make
driving hazardous, similar to snow or ice. If you must travel, be
aware of rapidly changing road conditions.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
