Our sincerest condolences to the family and friends of Ms. Nievelis Bitman who passed away this morning. Ms. Nievelis was a special lady who had a first hand understanding of the cost of freedom and was a tireless defender of it. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am at Blessed Sacrament Church.

Our heartfelt condolences on the passing of Nievelis Bittmann. She was a very special lady, a proud Cuban immigrant, and a true patriot who deeply loved this country. Her dedication to helping our local GOP and Alamance Republican Women will never be forgotten. She will be deeply missed.

Alamance County had a large presence at our 9th District Convention! Our County Chairman Brad Buchanan chaired the Resolutions Committee. Our Immediate Past County Chairman and current 9th District Vice Chairman Kathy Page presented our 9th District Judicial Fundraiser for the Judicial Victory Fund. Money raised will benefit our candidates for NC Supreme Court and NC Court of Appeals! ARW Secretary Cheryl Sandford sold tickets for the ongoing ARW Gun Raffle.

The 2026 Republican 9th District Convention is scheduled for April 25th, 2026 at the Randolph County Historic Courthouse. You can register online at 2026 NCGOP 9th District Convention. We had a good Alamance County delegation at last year's District Convention and we would love to have everyone there. Please plan on attending.
