A blue Samsung cell phone with a black case was turned in to the Police Department after being found on Oak Street.

If you believe this phone belongs to you, please contact the Police Department or stop by during business hours to identify and claim it.

🎣🍩 NATIONAL DONUT DAY ALERT! 🍩🎣

We heard there were some officers biting today… and it turns out donuts make pretty good bait! 🎣👮

In honor of National Donut Day, we decided to do a little fishing of our own and see which officers we could reel in. Spoiler alert: the donuts didn’t last long. 😆

Happy National Donut Day from all of us at the Police Department! Stay safe, have a great day, and don’t forget to treat yourself to a donut. 🍩

🚨 COMMUNITY NOTICE 🚨

We have received multiple reports regarding items found in our community that were believed to be laced with drugs based on information circulating on social media.

To address these concerns, our department has collected these items and submitted them for testing. Every item tested has come back NEGATIVE for drugs.

At this time, the concern that these items are being intentionally laced with drugs appears to be unfounded.

⚠️ If you find an item that you believe may be suspicious:

❌ Do NOT touch it.
📞 Call our department at 719-346-8353.
👮 We will respond and collect the item for evaluation.

We appreciate community members who report concerns and help us investigate potential safety issues. We will continue to follow up on reports and provide accurate information to keep our community informed.

It’s finally that time of the year! ☀️🌊

Come join us at the Burlington Swimming Pool on July 1st from 5-7pm for our second annual fundraiser party! 100% of the profits go towards National Night Out.

The officers loved judging the cannonball contest last year, and they can’t wait to see what you’ve come up with for this year 😎 (prizes for the winners, of course!)
