Outright Vermont We're building a Vermont where all LGBTQ+ youth have hope, equity, and power! Heck yeah!

Offering social and support groups for youth and families, training for youth-serving professionals, advocacy, and opportunities for youth to lead the way forward. Outright Vermont is a queer youth advocacy, education, and youth space based out of Burlington, VT. We work with lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (LGBTQQ or queer) youth through their teens. PROGRAMS & EVENTS

Our programs include peer support groups, a queer youth summer camp (www.campoutright.com), and anti-harassment education work for students and educators in VT schools. Our largest events of the year include the Queer & Allied Youth Summit each May - a networking conference for Gay/Straight Alliance (GSA) or Queer/Straight Alliance(QSA) students and their advisors from all over the state; the annual Queer Youth Prom (as part of the summit); the Fire Truck Pull, Out for the Oscars, and the Outright Awards (just to name a few). A completely valid way to support LGBTQ+ youth: ordering pizza. 🍕✨🌈

On Thursday, June 4, American Flatbread Waitsfield, VT will donate $5 from every flatbread sold to Outright Vermont. Dine in, take out, bring a friend, bring your appetite.

We'll be hanging out at the Waitsfield restaurant with resources, info, and plenty of reasons to stop by!

The Q***r Cheer Pride Crew will be out and about during Pride month across Vermont, bringing q***r joy, community, and resources for LGBTQ+ youth wherever we go ✨

NEW PROGRAM UNLOCKED 👀🌈🔓 in Washington County and we want LGBTQ+ and allied youth to help shape it from day one!

We're launching a brand new program called OutFront Educators, and before anything officially begins, we’re hosting a Think Tank to hear directly from young people about what they want, need, care about, and wish existed in their communities.

This event is open to LGBTQ+ and allied youth ages 13-19 living in Washington County, and everyone who attends will receive a $50 VISA gift card!

We’ve got so many ways to get involved this spring, from tabling at Pride events across the state to helping us prepare Sunrise for another summer of q***r joy, camp memories, and community care 💫

Youth Organizers are LGBTQ+ and allied youth ages 13-19 who work together to support q***r and trans youth across Vermont through events, organizing, advocacy, and community building.

Expect new friendships, big ideas, statewide events, and a whole lot of learning together along the way!! 🤸‍♀️

This is a paid 9 month internship running September 2026 through May 2027.
