As a result of the Cardio for Cosmo 5K in May of this year, four students from BTHS received a $500 Scholarship for College! Thank you again for all who participated and donated! Congrats to our BTHS Students!

The Mansfield Township Police Department is saddened to announce the untimely loss of one of our own, Patrolman Samuel Irvin. Sam was not only a colleague, he was a brother and a friend. It is difficult to write this because we are all at a loss for words. We are trying our hardest to honor him in the best way we can, but nothing we do will amount to the Man, Expectant Father, Fiancé, Brother, Son, and Friend that Samuel Irvin was. The outpouring of support that has already been shown for our brother in blue is humbling and makes us remember that we are all ONE family. Sam has gained thousands of brothers and sisters, and we will always honor him in every way possible. As you gaze upon our flag, here at the Municipal Complex, you will notice that it is at half-mast. This is in the memory of our brother and friend, Samuel Irvin. The flag will remain at half-mast until a memorial service is held honoring Sam’s life. Please keep the Irvin’s, Santucci’s, friends, and family of Sam in your thoughts and prayers. He will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

Open for Burlington Twp. students ages 9-14. The academy will be held July 11th - 14th from 5:00-9:00 PM and July 15th (Graduation day) 2:30-7:30 PM.

The Burlington Township FOP Lodge #84 and the Burlington Township Police Department would like to sincerely thank the NJ Independent Order of Odd Fellows Burlington Lodge #22 for the generous donation of $16,730!! The donation will be used to purchase a Towable Gas Commercial Grill that the Lodge and Police Department will be taking out to community and lodge events for all the residents to enjoy! We will release the news once the grill is purchased and when we will be in a neighborhood near you!! Come grab a burger or hotdog we will soon be announcing!

Law enforcement agencies throughout the nation have become aware of activity on social media platforms discussing the possibility of violent acts occurring at schools tomorrow. While we are not aware of any threats against any specific schools in Burlington County, our law enforcement agencies will remain vigilant and be on high alert. We encourage anyone with information about a possible threat to school safety to contact their local police department and/or school resource officer so any concerns can immediately be investigated.

On Friday, December 3rd, Officer Philippe Thibert #111 and Officer Sean Celia #113 responded to a call for a resident in labor. Upon their arrival, little Evelyn did not want to wait to go to the hospital and was ready to see the world! At approximately 6:47 AM Officer Thibert delivered the baby 👶

BTPD is once again participating in No Shave November! 🧔🏻🧔🏾

During the month of November, Burlington Twp. Police officers will be participating in "No Shave November" to raise awareness for all types of cancer.

For those who do not know, the purpose of No Shave November is to raise awareness by “embracing our hair, which many cancer patients lose, and letting it grow wild and free." Many of our officers will be donating the money they would typically spend on shaving and grooming, to educate about cancer prevention, save lives, and aid those fighting the battle.

This cause is being sponsored by the Burlington Township FOP Lodge #84, who will be matching the donations made by our officers! This year, all donations will be given to the BBU Foundation (Becky's Beard Unit) https://bbu2015.org/our-history.
