THE CATERPILLARS HAVE STARTED PUPATING! Come watch this fascinating process as they spin cocoons and begin their metamorphosis! We will continue offering Caterpillars Up Close until all of the caterpillars have pupated. Come by during our open hours, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10am-2pm.

It takes a village to tend a forest! We're looking for caring community members on a regular basis to lend a hand with restoration efforts around Rock Point. Every other Wednesday from 3:30-5pm we meet to work on projects including include native plantings, cutting introduced species, trail maintenance, and more. Rock Point Center intern Zinnia Stanley gave an engaging talk on isopods to a sold out crowd this past Sunday! Zinnia walked us through the ecology and identification of Vermont's isopods, as well as their behavior, anatomy, and more. Want more programming like this?
