When students can see themselves reflected in their school community, they’re reminded that they belong.

Tara France is a Public Health Educator with Alamance County Health Department. She brought the For Alamance Faith Team, Broadview Middle School staff, artists, and community volunteers together to create a mural celebrating students’ interests, talents and dreams: sports, music, dance, and more.

This project is a powerful example of what can happen when a community comes together with purpose, creativity, and care.

Shoutout to Tara for developing concepts for the mural and SPECIAL SHOUTOUT to Aleesha Morgan for transforming those ideas into art 🎨🖌️

A posted permit and sanitation grade show that the food sale has been inspected and is meeting food safety requirements.
