Beginning Wednesday, August 26, families are invited to stop by Alamance Partnership for Children to decorate and sign a card in memory of Dolly Parton. Share a story, a favorite memory, or a thank you message. We will send all cards to The Dollywood Foundation.

Hours: Wednesday, August 26 - 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Thursday, August 27 - 8 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Friday, August 28 - 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

Cards will be accepted through Wednesday, Sept. 2.]

Next Monday and Tuesday at Alamance County Public Libraries:
Graham Public Library is hosting at Medicare 101 Seminar at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, August 24. The seminar is presented by a representative from Humana. Call (336) 570-6730 for more information.

The Knights of F3 Chess Club will meet at 3:00 p.m. on Monday at May Memorial Library. This club gives chess players a place to play and does not involve instruction. Call (336) 229-3588 for more information.

On Tuesday, Alamance County Transportation Authority will hold an information session about their new Microtransit Service at Graham Public Library at 3:00 p.m. Call (336) 570-6730 for more information.

This summer was full of fun for our friends at Red Shield and Carolina Achieve summer camps! We did STEM projects and read great books each week. The last week at Carolina Achieve, we made drinking straw rockets and read about kids and adults who experimented over and over again until their rockets flew to the moon!
