Our Techs are required to participate in the on-call rotation, which covers night and weekend emergencies. Current rotation is once every 6-7 weeks. A valid driver’s license is required to carry out the duties of this position

The Permanent Supportive Housing Specialist (PSHS) position provides assistance to community members within Chittenden County who are without housing and have significant medical/mental health barriers to locating and securing housing in Burlington Housing Authority’s service area.

The PSHS works collaboratively with community service agencies and providers in addition to Chittenden County’s Coordinated Entry System, and reports to the Director of Housing Retention and Services.

CVOEO has decided to partner with the Burlington School system to combine its resources. The Champlain Valley Head Start program has chosen to relocate from our Franklin Square site to the Flynn School to better serve the community as a whole. It is just down the road from Franklin Square, so our residents at this community may still participate. BHA would like to thank Champlain Valley Head Start for its continued service to our resident youth over the past 16 years at our Franklin Square community.

The Assistant Property Manager serves as a critical member of our property management team. This position is responsible for assisting the team of Property Managers in the day to day operations of BHA’s property portfolio.

The Assistant Property Manager assists with leasing apartments, move in and move outs, maintaining accurate tenant files and assist with tenant complaints, collection of rents, lease violations, property inspections, vacant unit checks, delivery of resident notices and certifications, and other duties related to property management.
