ANEW Place provides a holistic continuum of services for the homeless, centered in love and dignity. Holistic Support | We believe in valuing the whole person.

ANEW Place is consistently embarking upon new programming to meet the changing needs of Burlington’s homeless. Our hope is to teach skills for long-term change, encourage guests to build self esteem, and connect them in relationship with community members who have a heart to serve. We are guided by the following values:

provide a diverse, welcoming environment, free of judgment and full of compassion, for those who need it most. We emphasize all areas of wellness including social, mental, physical, spiritual, relational, and occupational to support health and growth. We connect guests with our community-wide network of resources, creating continued partnerships for shared growth. Tools for Change | We believe all people can change. We create unique paths for positive, lifelong change and equip each person with the tools to get there.

RENOVATION UPDATE!

What a difference! Our kitchen renovation is nearly complete, and we’re so grateful for everyone who helped make it possible.

Construction is moving into a new phase! While work continues on the kitchen, our crew has also started demo on the bathrooms that were not part of the last round of renovations. Right now things look pretty rough, but every bit of progress gets us closer to the finish line.

And the good news keeps going too. Our matching grant is still live, so every gift to the renovation fund is doubled right now. Your support helps us get through this messy middle part of the process and into fresh, updated spaces for our staff and guests to enjoy.

New beginnings on our team! 🎉

We're celebrating our Case Manager, Maggie Pierce, as she starts an exciting new chapter at Northeastern University School of Law. Thank you for everything you've poured into our guests and our team, Maggie. We're cheering you on!

And we're thrilled to welcome Zora Duquette-Hoffman to ANEW Place as our new Case Manager! We're so glad to have her, and our guests are lucky to have her support.

Our house kitchen is under construction, and we need your help! With so much change happening around our guests right now, a meal means even more. It's comfort and a reminder that they're cared for.

Since we don't have kitchen or sink access, meals need to be ready to serve, in disposable containers, or in individual microwaveable portions. Think sandwiches, pasta salads, takeout pizza, or casseroles that reheat easily. We even have a grill on site if you'd like to cook there!
