Prairie Family Center Prairie Family offers free programs with the intention of educating, strengthening and guiding all ages towards self-fulfillment and stability.

Prairie Family is a nonprofit organization that provides resources and basic needs to those in need and is beginning to transition into adolescent support in Kit Carson County, Colorado and beyond. We are doing this through valuable programs such as the Smart-Girl and Smart-Guy (soon to come) with the intention to break the cycle and promote our youth into being stable citizens both personally as

well as within the community. Our incredible programs and services would not be accessible if it wasn't for the generosity of the community. Prairie Family Center holds regular fundraising efforts throughout the year to help fund our programs in addition to applying for grants through foundations, corporations, individuals and the like. As an intermediary and partner, the Family Resource Center Association provides training, technical assistance,
data tools, and evaluation expertise to support a network of member Family Resource Centers and other
partner organizations using a comprehensive approach to strengthen families. FRCA is advancing the field
of family support and strengthening with a unique, replicable model that shows statistically-significant improvement in family stability, health, and well-being.
