Thanks to all of the volunteers who helped make this mornings meal kit pick up successful! There are still plenty of meal kits available and can be picked up from God's Storehouse from 5p-7p this evening!

ECKAN and God's Storehouse will not be open tomorrow, so don't miss this opportunity to get food items before the holiday!

Turkeys are flying away! Come get yours now until noon!

ECKAN and God's Storehouse Thanksgiving Meal Kit pick up will take place Tuesday, November 25th 9a-NOON at Kelley Park.

This will be a DRIVE THRU only line (please don't park your vehicle). To prevent potential congestion of vehicles, we have established a route through the fairgrounds to keep the line moving smoothly! Plan to enter at the southern most entrance to the park, where you enter to go by the ballfields. This will be a ONE WAY route trough the fairgrounds and will exit by Kelley 4-H Building where you will pick up your meal kit.

God's Storehouse and ECKAN have established this as FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE until NOON or until the meal kits are gone. ECKAN and God's Storehouse require you to complete a form before you pick up the meal. These are available at either entity to fill out ahead of time and bring with you (recommended), or will be available to complete in your car before you pick up your meal kit.

WOWZA! With a week and a half still left to go, we are already able to provide 93 Thanksgiving meals to Coffey County families this year! In great thanks to the incredible generosity of this amazing community!

The Sheriff's Office and County Attorney's Office will provide the turkey for up to 130 meal kits, so please keep the generosity coming! We want to make sure every family in Coffey County has a meal to share together this Thanksgiving!

Hoovers is currently SOLD OUT of pre-assembled bags, but they are working to get some more pre-assembled for you to donate to this drive later this week.

Paper bags with the shopping list on them are located throughout the county including, all of the bank locations in Burlington (Citizens, First National, Central National, and Farmers), the Coffey County Library, K-State Research and Extension- Coffey County, ECKAN, God's Storehouse, and the Law Enforcement Center! You can pick up a bag and do the shopping yourself or scan the QR code to make a donation and we will do the shopping for you!

Coffey County is full of incredible people! In just 24 hours we've already received 8 completed meal kits, and enough donations for us to be able do the shopping for 6 (EDIT: 11!) more meal kits! 14 (EDIT: 19!) total. WOW!

Drop off locations for completed meal kits are the Coffey County Courthouse Lobby- Court Security Desk or the Sheriff's Office Lobby in the Coffey County Law Enforcement Center located at 625 Neosho St- Burlington.

Brown bags to fill with the shopping list items have been dropped off at each of the bank locations in Burlington, Coffey County Extension, ECKAN, God's Storehouse, the Sheriff's Office, the County Attorney's Office, and the Burlington Branch Library. Bags should also be going on the library courier to be available at each library branch location soon!
