Want something different and fun to do this weekend? Come out and enjoy the beautiful weather day we are going to have this Saturday, May 9th and visit Love, Inc.'s Spring Vendor Fair! Ace Hardware is right next door to the Love, Inc. Home Store so visit them for their Rock the Block Party on the same day! Vendors will be at the Home Store and the Family Store!

Thanks to your ongoing generosity, we are able to serve our neighbors in need each and every week. Here is what we are currently looking for:

Food Items:
Cereal, oatmeal, salty snacks, crackers, canned chicken, Rice-A-Roni, boxed pasta, boxed potato side dishes (scalloped, au gratin, julienne, etc.)

Non-Food Items:
Toothbrushes, toothpaste, denture tabs and cream, S.O.S. pads, hand soap, lotion (all varieties), travel-size soaps, and size 4 diapers

Saturday, May 9th is an easy opportunity to help Love, Inc. Food Pantry! Each year, letter carriers across the country head out on their routes on the second Saturday in May to collect donations of non-perishable food items to benefit local food pantries. Since launching in 1993, the National Association of Letter Carriers’ annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive has grown into the nation’s largest one-day food drive, helping to fill the shelves of food banks in cities and towns throughout the United States.
The need is great, but you can help. We invite you to join letter carriers and our partner organizations in the fight to end hunger in our communities by participating in the annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive.
Simply leave your donation of non-perishable food in a bag near your mailbox on the second Saturday in May, and your letter carrier will do the rest.

A grateful THANK YOU to the Kansasville-Dover Betterment Committee for the donation we received from their annual Winter Golf Fundraiser. $2,000 will go a long way in helping with food and services to our Western Racine community. Thank you to all who participated and volunteered to make this a wonderful event.

Hello! We hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend and enjoyed time with loved ones! As we continue into spring, our food pantry is looking for the following items this week:

Food Items: kids juice boxes, Sunny D, Hawaiian Punch, V8, prune juice, Spam, microwave popcorn, and pancake syrup
Non-Food Items: baby wipes, body wash, conditioner, dog food, cat food, and mattress pads

Thank you so much for your continued support of our Food Pantry! It is because of you that we are able to help hundreds of our neighbors in need on a weekly basis.

Thank you to all the participates of the Shamrock Shuffle Downtown Burlington Bar Crawl for Charity! The participating locations, Archives Bar and Grill, Bubba's Brickyard, The Main Event, The Plush Horse, Low Daily, Liars'Club, Lucky Mojos, The Runaway Micropub and Nanobrewery, and Therapy Bar - raised $1,000 for Love, Inc.! Samantha from Archives Bar and Grill presented the check. We appreciate all you do for our food pantry and services for the people we serve.

Good morning! This week, we just want to take a moment to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

To our community, our neighbors, and the small businesses who keep showing up for us, your support never goes unnoticed. Because of you, we are able to continue doing what we love most: helping our friends and neighbors in need.

And this past Saturday, something really special happened. The Boy Scouts brought their Scouting Out Hunger food drive to our doors, and those young men showed up and gave it everything they had. We were truly blown away. Their donations went above and beyond anything we expected, and we are just so incredibly grateful.

To every one of those young men, you should be so proud. That badge you wear means something, and you proved it this week. We are cheering for each and every one of you. 💙
