Burlington Township is a combined Career/ Volunteer Fire Department. Our mission is to serve and protect the residents, businesses, and visitors to our community. Burlington Township is roughly half way between Trenton and Camden NJ, with portions bordered by the Delaware River. The Burlington Township Fire Department serves approximately 22,660 residents and over 500 businesses in a 14.2 square m
ile area. The department also responds to incidents on 4 major highways/ commercial roadways that intersect the town, the NJ Turnpike, I-295, NJ Route 130 and County Route 541 as well as the Conrail/ NJ Transit Light Rail.
