Calling all Halloween enthusiasts. Get creative and build your very own Haunted House from scratch. 🕸️

Here's what you need to know: 🎃
- Pre-Registration is required at boonecountyky.org/parks.
- FREE to enter.
- All ages welcome.
- No kits allowed.
- Submit entries by Saturday, October 10
- Email photos of your haunted house to [email protected] by October 10.

All entries will be featured on Boone County Parks Facebook and Instagram. Awards will be given to the top three entries! 🏆

From Three Parks to 21 🌳

Then — 1972: 🎣
Boone County Parks began with just 15 acres and three properties: Lincoln Woods Park, Limaburg Park, and Maplewood Ball Fields. Over the next 20 years, the system grew to 591 acres, adding athletic fields, playgrounds, trails, fishing lakes, and more.

Now — 2026: ⚽🎾
Today, Parks includes 21 parks and approximately 2,000 acres of parkland where Boone County families can gather, play, and make memories.

SELLERS: 🏷️
- Sellers must be 18 +
- $10 for the first space - $6 for each additional space (Each space is approximately 9' x 12')

🔹England Idlewild Park Disc Golf Course (24 hole): Ranked #22 in the world and #1 in Kentucky by UDisc, Idlewild is also a Disc Golf Pro Tour staple, hosting the world’s top players on its challenging, professional-level layout. With wooded fairways, elevation changes, and technical shots, it’s a must play for serious disc golfers.

🔹Boone Woods Park Disc Golf Course (18 hole): Enjoy a scenic round surrounded by nature while putting your disc golf skills to the test.

🔹Walton Community Park Disc Golf Course (9 hole): Grab your discs, get outside, and enjoy a fun round with friends and family.
