Join us for an inspiring evening at the Fletcher Free Library on Thursday, April 30th at 5:30 pm, featuring acclaimed National Geographic photographer, filmmaker, and writer Ami Vitale. In her presentation, Photographing Hope in a Fractured World, Vitale explores how storytelling - through images and lived experience - can foster empathy, connection, and hope across cultures and continents.

This event is organized by the Friends of Fletcher Free Library’s Capital Campaign Committee: Building One Story at a Time, a campaign grounded in the belief that stories - whether told through photographs, books, or community spaces - are a powerful way to bring people together, deepen understanding, and build a stronger future for all.
