Medix Ambulance Service is a division of Curtis-Universal and is currently based in Burlington, WI. Medix staffs 4 stations and has been serving Racine, Kenosha, and Walworth counties as a division of Curtis-Universal since 2005. We provide BLS, ALS, and Critical Care emergency and non-emergency ambulance transportation. Medix also staffs ems personnel for Kansasville Fire Department and Delavan Fire Department. As a member of this elite team, employees are given the opportunity to broaden their experience in both private ems and 911 services. Medical Direction is local, provided by Mercy Walworth Hospital and Medical Center, and allows us to be one of the most medically progressive services in the state of Wisconsin with the most advanced protocols and utilization of the MD-1 program.
