UVM Rescue

UVM Rescue UVM Rescue is a Vermont state licensed 911 Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulance staffed and operated by University of Vermont students & alumni.

The primary responsibility of UVM Rescue is to provide emergency medical care to the University of Vermont campus, Fletcher Allen Helipad, and the University Health Center (UHC). UVM Rescue is also the secondary ambulance for Burlington, South Burlington, Shelburne, Winooski, Richmond and other local communities as part of its mutual aid plan. It started in the bleachers.

A patient complaint turned into a rapidly deteriorating emergency, ending with a full code. Huge credit to one of our alumni for running the scenario and our CCIT for leading the training that pushed everyone to adapt and perform under pressure.

We train like it matters because one day, it will.
