Many of you have already heard the heartbreaking news of the passing of Billy and Susan Clayton’s son, Chandler. Billy and Susan are devastated, as Chandler was their only son, and the pain of this loss is something no parent should ever have to face.

They would like to sincerely thank everyone who has reached out through texts, phone calls, and personal visits. While nothing can take away the pain of this loss, the outpouring of love, prayers, and support has helped carry them through this heartache.

During this incredibly difficult time, Billy and Susan are leaning on their faith and trusting in God’s plan. Please continue to keep them in your prayers.

Funeral arrangements are currently pending, and details will be shared as soon as they become available. 🙏

While the results were not what we hoped for, my heart is full. I am incredibly grateful for every person who stood beside me during this journey.

To the volunteers who knocked on doors, made calls, worked the polls, put out signs, and showed up day after day; to the supporters who prayed, donated, encouraged, and believed in this campaign; to the families who sacrificed time so we could serve. THANK YOU!!

This campaign was never just about a name on a ballot. It was about our shared love for the future we all want for our community.

Serving you as a candidate has been one of the greatest honors of my life. I am proud of the race we ran. Built on integrity, transparency, and respect. These values are the foundation of who I am.

My wife and I are loyal customers at Walmart, especially the one on Graham Hopedale Road. Over the years, we’ve built real friendships with so many of the employees there, and that truly means a lot to us. Because of those relationships, we were invited to the Black History Month Celebration on February 21st.
The event featured several powerful speakers whose stories were truly inspiring, along with some incredible talent on display. I hated not being able to attend due to a prior commitment, but I was blessed to have the best representation I could ask for: my wife, Susan, and our good family friend, Rosa. They are always willing to stand in for me when I can’t be there, and I’m grateful for their support.
Thank you, Walmart, for your friendship, your support, and for hosting such a uniting and uplifting event for our community.
