The Arc of Burlington County recently hosted an amazing talent show, where 20+ individuals we serve took the stage to show off their incredible talents! From music and performances to plenty of smiles and fun, it was a day full of celebration. 🌟

🏆 Congratulations to our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners! Your talents truly shined! 👏🎉 And a huge thank you to everyone who participated you all made the day so special!

ACT NOW: The Arc strongly supports the goal of preventing workplace violence, especially in healthcare settings.

However, we remain deeply concerned that the bill as written unintentionally criminalizes disability-related behavior by including group homes as healthcare facilities and by failing to ensure that healthcare professionals receive specialized training to support people with autism and IDD.

What if you couldn't explain what you needed during a mental health crisis?

For some people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), a mental health crisis can make communication difficult. Thanks to our partnership with the UnitedHealth Group's United Health Foundation, our new mental health crisis card helps bridge that gap by sharing important information with the people who are trying to help.

The card can include preferred ways to communicate, calming techniques, things to avoid, and emergency contacts. It's a simple tool that can help others respond with understanding and support when it matters most.
