The burn ban will be lifted at 8am tomorrow morning (May 8th) for all 100 counties.

The NC Forestry service has lifted the burn ban in 81 counties. This does NOT include Alamance County. The counties marked in red are still under a burn ban. Please be sure that you are not burning, we will keep everyone updated.

We are set to break ground on our new fire station in late May! 🚒 🏠

Today we have installed a sign showing a rendering of our new station. We are so excited for this new chapter.

🚫🔥🚫A state wide burn ban is going into effect this evening at 6pm. No burning is permitted, even if you previously acquired a burn permit from the North Carolina Forestry Service.

If you see any burning, please be sure to call 911.

Effective Saturday, March 28 at 8 a.m., the National Weather Service has issued a ** 🚩🚩RED FLAG WARNING🚩🚩** for some North Carolina counties. For counties that aren’t under a red flag, fire danger is still critical. Review weather alerts for North Carolina at weather.gov.

A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now or will shortly. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity and warm temperatures will create dangerous fire behavior.

While open burning is permitted during a red flag, it is NOT advised. Please postpone ALL outdoor burning. If there was ever a time to show you can follow instructions the first time they are given, it’s now.

⚠️ Road Closure ⚠️

Kimesville rd. is closed at the intersection of Clapp Mill Rd. Due to a overturned box truck.

E-91 arrived on scene to find a box truck on its side. 1 occupant was entrapped and had to be extricated. After being extricated, both occupants refused care from Alamance County Emergency Medical Services.

Sta.9 will remain on scene until the road is opened back up.
