The Exterior Historic Preservation Project on the 1904 Carnegie Library building will wrap up in just a couple of weeks. Last punch list items such as painting touch ups are taking place on these sunny days. The construction team is pouring the pads for our front benches and matching grout to caulk the front Carnegie steps (they selected the sample button on the far left, was that your choice, too? The next step will be reseeding the lawn before summer!

Thanks to National Park Service Save America's Treasures, Friends of the Fletcher Free Library, a T-Mobile Hometown grant, and the Vermont Division for Historic Preservation, along with city matches for this funding.
