Join us in congratulating Cody Osterholtz and Dakota Ford, the newest graduates of Skagit Valley College’s Fire Science Program!

Both Cody and Dakota have shown outstanding commitment, resilience, and determination throughout their training—and we’re proud to have them representing Skagit County Fire District 6 as they begin their careers in the fire service.

This Saturday, March 29th, SCFD 6 will be hosting an acquired structure fire training.
The structure is located at 16086 Peterson Rd in Burlington.
Training will include ignition of a house and shop and you should expect to see a large smoke column in the area.
Please avoid the area as traffic will be limited for the safety of the crews on site.

We are so proud to announce the 2024 SVC Fire scholarship graduates! James Triplett, Tyler McLeod, and Andrew Richardson graduated from Skagit Valley College’s Fire Science program on Thursday night. These three have worked extremely hard the last two years to grow their fire skills and excel in their school work. We are lucky to have them! 🔥🚒👨🏻‍🎓👨🏼‍🎓👨🏻‍🎓
