Today 31 firefighters from Livingston County participated in a drivers training simulator. Each student was able to practice realistic driving of emergency response vehicles and learn ways to keep responders and the public we serve safe. Thank you Smithland Fire for hosting this training and the Kentucky Fire Commission for making this training tool avaliable!

Well folks the snow wasnt as bad as expected but please don't underestimate the danger out there. Roads are very slick and will be for the next few days. We worked a couple wrecks the other day with road conditions not quite as bad as they are now. Give yourself extra time to get to work in the morning. Also like te last winter storm we are staffing the station around the clock until road conditions improve. Of you lose heat during this extreme cold or know of somone who does the station will be avaliable for a warming center. Be safe !
