ELECTION TIME
THE BURNA FIRE DISTRICT WILL BE HOLDING ELECTIONS FOR THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS ON SATURDAY JUNE 27, 2026 FROM 11AM TO 2 PM.
VOTING WILL BE INPERSON ONLY AT THE STATION LOCATED AT 1437 US HWY 60 EAST IN BURNA, KY 42028.
YOU MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE AND A RESIDENT OF THE TAXING DISTRICT TO VOTE. PROPER ID IS REQUIRED FOR ADDRESS VERIFICATION.
ELECTION RESULTS WILL BE POSTED AS SOON AS THE BALLOTS ARE COUNTED.

Shout out to Corey Agnew at Victory Fire and the Kentucky Fire Commission. We were able to purchase 2 sets of Vking turnout gear on the fire commission PPE grant.

Wanting to give back to your community but not sure how?
The Burna Fire District has 2 Board positions up for election this June. They are a 2 Year term.
Requirements are, you must be 18 years of age and a property owner in the fire district.
The board meets once a month and is responsible for the financial decisions of the fire district and approving the policies and personnel within the department.
