Early this morning Ledbetter Fire was dispatched to a working structure fire near station 2's territory. Upon arrival, unit found a fully involved structure fire. With the help of Smithland Fire Dept, Burna Fire Department, Salem Fire & Rescue, & Grand Lakes Fire units were able to extinguish the fire confirm no one was in the home at the time of the fire. Also thank you to Livingston EMS for making sure everyone was OK and stayed hydrated. Also a special thanks to Arks Mart for providing breakfast and additional drinks for our firefighters!

On Saturday June 27th the Burna Fire District held our board elections.
Beginning with the July meeting Edward Doom will begin another 3 year term as one of the elected property owners. Tyler Coleman will begin a 3 year term as one of the Fiscal Court appointees. And Amy Culver will service a 1 year term as one of the firefighter representatives on the board.
Lets welcome our new board members and continue to work towards helping our community and district.
