Tonight we bow our heads in prayer for all who are dealing with the floods across Central Texas, but our hearts are especially wth the missing children and their families. As a mom, I can't imagine what they are going through. The first responders and volunteers who are working tirelessly to help find them are also in our prayers, and we thank you for doing what you do.

Prayer is powerful, so let's pray together!

This morning employees of Burnet County read the Declaration of Independence at the courthouse. It is a fun tradition, and we enjoy participating each year.

Friday, April 11th kicks off the 42nd Annual Burnet Bluebonnet Festival on Burnet's Historic Downtown Square.

The Burnet County Clerk's Office will be open from 8:00 am-2:00 pm.

We are happy to serve our customers, but please keep in mind that getting to us will be a bit of a challenge today. The majority of the roads near the square are blocked off for the festival. Be prepared to walk several blocks if you need to take care of business with us today. If it can wait, I would recommend coming to visit us on Monday, April 14th.

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month and the Burnet County Clerk's Office proudly wears blue in support of the Hill Country Children's Advocacy Center and CASA for the Highland Lakes on Go Blue Day. The work these organizations do goes above and beyond. Thank you to all the people who have been called to serve our children in need!
