Longhorn Cavern State Park is a state park located in Burnet County, Texas, United States. We offer cavern tours every hour on weekdays starting at 11 AM with the last tour at 3 PM.*

Labor Day Weekend is almost here! If one more summer adventure is on your list, we’d love to see you at Longhorn Cavern. A few tips to help make your visit go smoothly:

🎟️ Make reservations online in advance at VisitLonghornCavern.com Labor Day Weekend is one of our busiest weekends of the year, and tours can sell out. Walk-in availability may be limited, and we can’t take or change reservations by phone.

⏰ Arrive at the park 30 minutes before your scheduled tour time. You’ll need time to find parking, use the restroom, check in, and get to the tour’s starting point before the safety speech begins. Guests who miss any part of the safety speech will not be able to enter the cavern with their tour.

🚗 Carpool if possible, especially if you’re visiting with a group. Parking is limited during busy weekends. We also don’t recommend using a rideshare service to get to the park, as it can be difficult to find a ride back after your tour.

🌡️ It’s always a comfortable 68 degrees inside the cavern, making it a great place to escape the late-summer Texas heat.

Most importantly: book your tour before you make the drive! Check current tour times and availability and reserve your tickets at VisitLonghornCavern.com
