Thank you to the BMS Cross Country Students for helping us polish up a few buses. You all did an amazing job. Not sure what's happening in the second pic, but too good not to post. Say hello to Jared, our new Assistant Director, and Cristie, our new Studnet Managment/Lead Driver.

🧹✨ Happy School Custodian Appreciation Day! ✨🧹

Today we're giving a BIG Bulldog THANK YOU to the incredible custodians who work behind the scenes each day to keep our schools clean, safe, welcoming, and ready for learning. They show up early, stay late, and work hard every day to keep our campuses sparkling in every corner. Thank you for all you do for our students, staff, and schools. We appreciate you today and every day! 💚 🐾

Good morning,
Burnet CISD Transportation just sent another invitation to download the STOPFINDER app. Please check your spam folder if you don't see it in your inbox. This app will allow you to ensure your student is assigned to a bus, assigned to the correct stops, and to see their morning and afternoon bus times. We also use this app to notify you if your bus is delayed. During bad weather days, this lets us inform you of any issues for your student's route or stop.
What to look for in your email:

Good morning,
We are working our way through the morning storms. Right now, most of our buses are running on time. We have sent STOPFINDER alerts for buses running about 10 minutes late.
We will be watching the weather closely today and will work to keep you informed. Thank you

🌧️ Weather Update
A period of potentially heavy rain and storms is expected across Central Texas beginning later today, with the heaviest rainfall currently expected overnight into Thursday morning. Burnet CISD is closely monitoring the forecast and potential impacts across our district.

At this time, there are no changes to the school day or district operations. We will continue monitoring conditions throughout the day and overnight.

BCISD covers approximately 700 square miles, and weather and road conditions can vary significantly across our district. While we monitor conditions throughout the area, we cannot know the condition of every road, low-water crossing, or individual route. Please use your best judgment based on conditions where you live and travel, and never attempt to cross a flooded roadway.

If weather conditions require any changes to district operations, we will communicate promptly through our normal communication channels. If you do not receive a communication from the district, please plan for school to operate as usual.

Safe. Informed. Together.
