🌲✨ Big News for Campers at McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park! ✨🌲

Starting October 1, 2025, McArthur-Burney Falls MSP will launch a new Early Reservation Lottery for the 2026 camping season!

🏕️ What’s New?

20 campsites, including 2 mini-group sites, will be available through a lottery drawing.
Lottery reservations open 8 months in advance for camping dates between June 1–30, 2026.
Winners will be notified 7 months before their reservation begins.
Any unclaimed sites will return to the regular 6-month reservation system.
This pilot program gives campers a better chance to plan ahead and secure a spot at one of California’s most iconic parks. 🌊🌲

New Early Reservation Lottery for McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park Campsites Begins October 1

McArthur-Burney Falls MSP is launching a special early reservation lotter for the 2026 camping season. Starting October 1st, 2025, approximately 20 campsites will be available for lottery-based reservations eight months in advance for arrival dates beginning June 1, 2026.
This pilot program is designed to give campers a chance to secure a coveted spot at one of California’s most iconic parks well ahead of the usual six-month reservation window. Winners of the lottery will be notified 7 months before your reservation begins. Unclaimed sites will go back into normal circulation for reservation up to 6 months in advance along with all other campsites not in the lottery.
This is a new initiative for 2025, and we are excited to offer more flexibility and planning options for our visitors.
