This week, the Tribe’s Land Use Plan consultant, SWABACK, began work on the Land Use Plan by visiting Tribal lands to assess and identify opportunities for economic development, community development, housing, and other future uses. During the visit, the SWABACK team also met with the Land Use Plan Working Group and Tribal Council to discuss project goals and outline the next steps in the planning process.

The next phase of the project will focus on reviewing and analyzing previous studies and reports completed for the Tribe, followed by community engagement opportunities.

This project is funded through California Jobs First Regional Investment Initiative (RII) Tribal Investment Phase.
