Penny Bazaar will be happening in just a few short months.
Raffle Tickets and Penny Tickets are available for sale. Someone will be at bingo this week after 4:30 and next week after 4pm so you can get them early. After June 4th Penny Tickets will not be for sale until July 2nd as the person who handles that will be unavailable. You can also message the page to set up a time to purchase between now and June 4th. Get your tickets now so you can avoid the lines and have them pulled apart ahead of time.

Today we had the honor of presenting two scholarships to two students who exemplify what Fred Nickel was all about. He had deep love of education, The Mifflin County Academy, the students within the Mifflin County School District, community service and a deep love for his community. We had the pleasure presenting this award with the Nickel Family. We are able to do these scholarships because of the people in our community that have donated to the Frederick D Nickel Scholarship Fund and we thank you for your generous donations so we can continue to do this for the students of the Mifflin County School District.

The first Scholarship was awarded to Beth McKnight. She attended The Academy and recieved a certificate in Health Professions. She will be attending a 4 year college and will be Pre Med.

The second Scholarship was awarded to Kaitlyn Nearhoof. She attended The Academy and recieved a certificate in Health Professions. She will be attending a 4 year college and will be going for her nursing degree.

Congratulations to you both and we wish you the best in all of your future endeavors.

The Burnham Fire Company would like to congratulate two of our members that graduated from the Mifflin County Academy last night. Blake Royer recieved a certificate from the Welding Program and Kaitlyn Nearhoof recieved a Certificate in Health Professions. We wish you great success in your future endeavors. Congratulations to you both.

Penny Bazaar 2026 Information
August 14th and 15th
So far we have confirmed Sinister Mini Donuts will be joining us all weekend.
We are still in the early planning stages but it's starting to come together.

Raffle Tickets are in and are for sale. There are 15 prizes totalling $15,000 in cash. $10 per ticket.

Penny Tickets are also on sale now.

Someone will be at the firehouse tonight at 6pm if you want to get some tickets early.

Follow the page for updates and information as prizes will start coming in over the next few weeks.

Planning has begun for the 2026 Penny Bazaar. Raffle tickets are being made as we type this. This year there will be $15,000 in cash prizes on our raffle ticket.
Prizes will start coming in over the next few weeks.
Penny Tickets will go on sale May 7th.

Ticket Tournament is tomorrow. We have a few tickets left. Message the page if you would like a ticket. Someone will be at the firehouse from 5pm to 8pm tonight with tickets and tomorrow morning at 9am until the tournament starts.
