🌳 A Little History of Your Burns Harbor Parks
Did you know our parks have been bringing the community together for decades?
• 1966 – The Town of Burns Harbor was established, with a vision for community spaces.
• 1970s – Lakeland Park began growing into the heart of recreation in town.
• 1990s–2000s – Youth programs, sports, and community events expanded.
• 2017 – The Burns Harbor Park Foundation was created to help support park improvements and programs.
• Today – Our parks continue to host events, activities, and memories for families all year long.
From summer days at the lake to community events and new improvements, Burns Harbor parks are built by and for our community.
