The website can now be found at: www.portercountyin.gov - The old website (www.porterco.org) has this message up. It explains the reason for the move.

Please update your records, google and the other search engines are still updating and that may take a week or 2 (we have a very large website with a lot of pages/links).

I went to bed and had no idea what the final #'s would be in our local election. Woke up to a bunch of text messages saying, congrats! Was a pretty cool way to be woken up :)

Then as I was taking my shower, my daughter Abriella decorated my door with some encouraging messages. I thought this was soo cool - but then I saw Ayden's door, and she had decorated his door too with positive messages. I love my kiddos....they are amazing. To my wife, thank you for all your help! To Ava, Adley and Abriella thanks for coming with me to put up signs - wearing my campaign gear and helping us knock doors. To my campaign manager, Ayden - you are a star, and I couldn't do it without you...well maybe, but I wouldn't want to :)

I want to thank all of you that supported my campaign. All of you that helped spread the message, all those that donated to my campaign, those that helped put up signs and all those that came out vote yesterday and over the last 30 days.

To the candidates who didn’t make it through, you ran a clean, hard-fought race, and your dedication didn’t go unnoticed. Thank you for bringing your voice and vision to this election—we are stronger community because of it.

Im overwhelmed this morning. Thank you all!

Now to get to work getting all these signs down and the Christmas light show up and running :)

Tomorrow is ELECTION DAY!!! It came quickly. 😊

As a reminder, Porter County has Voting Centers now...this means, you can vote at ANY voting location in our county. You no longer are assigned a voting location. You can see all the county voting centers at: https://porterco.org/172/Vote-Center-Locations

In addition to this great news, you can also view the wait times at each location starting tomorrow. This will help you find a location that has a low wait time (or no wait time) to help you get your vote cast quickly and easily. I want to thank everyone for all your help this election season. Its been a lot of fun getting out there and meeting new people as well as seeing old friends. A little throw back to the 2018 election when Ayden was still a little guy :) We were standing out at the polling places, greeting voters coming to cast their ballot.
