Kenneth was a founding member of the Tateville Fire Department and also served several years as Assistant Chief during the department’s early years. In addition to his service to the community, he proudly served our country for 40 years in the United States Air Force. We extend our deepest condolences and prayers to his family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time.

Kenneth Darwin Morrow, age 74, of Burnside, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 1, 2026, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, surrounded by the love of his family and the many prayers of those who knew him.

Born on January 17, 1952, in Delta, Kentucky, Kenneth was the son of the late Chester Morrow and Esther Keith Morrow. A man of deep faith, unwavering devotion, and quiet strength, Kenneth lived a life centered on God, family, and service to others.

On December 26, 1971, Kenneth married the love of his life, Donna Davis, in Tateville, Kentucky. Together they shared 54 blessed years of marriage, building a home filled with love, faith, laughter, and cherished memories. Their enduring love was an example to all who knew them.

Kenneth was a faithful Christian and dedicated member of Mt. Union Baptist Church, where he served faithfully for many years as Deacon, Treasurer, Clerk, and Sunday School Superintendent. He loved his church family dearly and was known for his servant’s heart, steady leadership, and kind spirit. His faith was not only something he professed, but something he lived each day through his compassion, humility, and willingness to help others.

Kenneth also proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for 40 years, attaining the rank of Senior Master Sergeant. He considered it an honor to serve his nation, and he carried that same sense of duty, integrity, and dedication throughout every aspect of his life.

Above all else, Kenneth loved his family deeply. He was a devoted husband, proud father, caring brother, and treasured grandfather whose greatest joy came from spending time with those he loved. His wisdom, gentle nature, and steadfast support will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.

He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Donna Davis Morrow; one son, Bryan Morrow (Rachelle) of Bardstown; two daughters, Denise Sue Jasper (Scott) of Lebanon, Tennessee, and Sheri Michelle Theisen (Stanley) of Burnside; six beloved grandchildren, Kaleb Jasper, Cameron Jasper, Kinley Morrow, Gatton Morrow, Bennett Morrow, and Harper Theisen; two sisters, Louise Morrow New of Delta, Kentucky, and Jannett Morrow Keith (Gerald) of Bronston, Kentucky; four sisters-in-law, Nicky Morrow of Delta, Kentucky, Linda Morrow of Bloomington, Indiana, Cathy Morrow of Bronston, Kentucky, and June Howard (Jimmy) of Burnside, Kentucky; one brother-in-law, Mark Davis (Tina) of Burnside, Kentucky; mother-in-law, Sue Davis of Burnside, Kentucky; along with many extended family members, church family, neighbors, and dear friends who mourn his passing and celebrate the blessing of having known him.

In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by four brothers, Fairrell Morrow, Lisle Morrow, Ralph Morrow, and Joseph Morrow; father-in-law, Sam Davis; and brother-in-law, Ronald New.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 6, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 7, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Perry Dobbs officiating. Burial will follow at Mill Springs National Cemetery with Full Military Honors conducted by the American Legion Post #38 Honor Guard.

Pallbearers will be Joey New, Glen Morrow, Kevin Morrow, Brandie Keith, Matthew Morrow, Bengie Howard, Josh Davis, Kaleb and Cameron Jasper; and junior pallbearers Gatton and Bennett Morrow.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the The Gideons International Memorial Bible Fund in memory of Kenneth Morrow. Checks may be made payable to Gideons Memorial Bibles and mailed c/o Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1441, Somerset, KY 42502.

Kenneth’s life was a beautiful testimony of faith, love, loyalty, and service. Though he will be deeply missed, his legacy will continue to live on through the countless lives he touched and the family he loved so dearly.

It’s been 24 years today since one of the darkest days in the history of the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office, the loss of Sheriff Sam Catron. Sheriff Catron lost his life, serving the community he loved. Sheriff Catron truly embodied what it means to be a public servant, working tirelessly to protect the citizens of this county. Sheriff Catron’s dedication has lived on through the men and women who followed him. We ask as you go through your day, to say a little prayer in remembrance of Sheriff Catron.

We extend our deepest sympathies to the Cassidy family as our community mourns the loss of a truly great man. Calvin lived a long and fulfilling life and served our community in many meaningful ways. He was a founding member of the Tateville Fire Department, served for several years as a firefighter, and later as a member of the Board of Directors.

Calvin’s unwavering support for the Department never wavered, and his dedication to our community will always be remembered. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Please keep the Cassidy family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
