FAMILIES IN OUR COMMUNITY
This year has been a challenge for many Burnsville families. If I am elected in November, I will work hard to make things easier for families and loved ones. My wife, Nicole, and I raised our sons during a different time. As I’m door-knocking, time and again I hear “things are different now,” in terms of governance, cost-of-living, and an overall sense of community. I WILL WORK HARD TO ENSURE EVERY FAMILY HAS A VOICE!
LOST TRUST IN BURNSVILLE’S CITY COUNCIL
Earlier this year, our community was gripped by fear. Families described seeing ICE activity while children were arriving at and leaving school. Parents were afraid to go to work, afraid to run errands, afraid that a normal day could end with their family torn apart. Parents were taken away without warning, leaving children confused and without immediate care. Families didn't know where to turn or whom to trust. In moments like these, city leaders have a responsibility to offer reassurance, compassion, and support. Too many families felt they were left to face these challenges alone.
In January, 22 residents addressed the council, speaking not only for themselves but for thousands of Burnsville residents who were afraid to come forward. Their testimony described the very real challenges and hardships facing local families. I hoped that hearing those stories would inspire empathy and action. Instead, two council members running for the same seat that I’m running for offered little comfort and no clear commitment to address those concerns. When asked where they stood, they seemed hesitant to respond. MY RESPONSIBILITY AS A CITY LEADER EXTENDS TO EVERY RESIDENT, AND WHEN IN NEED, I WILL LISTEN!
BURNSVILLE FAMILIES ARE A PRIORITY!
If I am elected, my votes will wholeheartedly express that all families in Burnsville are a major priority for me!
