🎓✨ This week, we celebrated our amazing 8th graders at our RISE Up Ceremony as they prepare to take their next big step into high school!

It was a powerful moment of reflection, pride, and excitement as we honored their growth, resilience, and all they've accomplished during their time in middle school.

A heartfelt thank you to all the families who joined us — your support, love, and partnership made the day even more meaningful. 🫶

We also want to give a huge shoutout to our dedicated teachers and staff who have guided, supported, and inspired our students every step of the way. Your impact is lasting, and we are so grateful for you. 👏🍎

To our 8th grade students — we are so proud of you and can't wait to see the incredible things you will do in high school and beyond. Keep rising, leading, and shining bright! 🌟

🎉 Wrapping up the year with celebration and community! 🎉
Last week we held our final Town Halls of the year with our amazing 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. It was a wonderful way to reflect on our growth, recognize student achievements, and celebrate the spirit that makes our school so special.
We are so proud of everything our students have accomplished this year—and we are excited for all that’s ahead.

🌟 Happy School Nurse Appreciation Day! 🌟

Today, we’re celebrating the incredible Nurse Kelly, our amazing school nurse who goes above and beyond every single day. 💛 From taking care of bumps and bruises to offering a comforting word and a warm smile, nurse Kelly is truly the heartbeat of our school.

We are so lucky to have such a dedicated, compassionate, and all-around wonderful nurse keeping our students healthy and safe. Thank you, nurse Kelly, for everything you do — we appreciate you more than words can say! 💐💖

🎉🥧 Pi Day Fun & Success! 🥧🎉

What an unforgettable Pi Day at our town hall ceremony! Some of our amazing teachers took pies to the face—all for a great cause! A huge thank you to Adam Iverson for organizing this fantastic event. Our goal was to collect 500 canned goods for the February food drive, and thanks to our incredible school community, we did it! 👏👏

Everyone had an absolute blast, and the energy in the room was amazing! Stay tuned for more photos from the town hall—there are plenty of priceless moments to share! 📸✨

🌸Kindness Month is in Full Bloom at Nicollet Middle School! 🌸

February is all about kindness, and our students are already spreading positivity throughout the school! Here’s what’s happening:

💐 Kindness Tree: Each morning, students are finding flower blossoms hidden around the school, writing kind notes to friends or teachers, turning them into the office, and receiving a treat! Our tree is growing bigger and bigger!!

🎟 Kindness Box Drawings: Every lunch period, we’re recognizing students for their acts of kindness with a special treat and shoutout—keep those kind gestures coming!

❤️This past Friday, we showed our kindness spirit by wearing red or pink—thank you to everyone who participated!

🎨 Classroom Door Decoration Contest: Stay tuned as we announce the most creative and heartwarming designs soon.

Today, we served all our students hot cocoa before the start of the holiday break! They absolutely LOVED IT!!
We also wrapped up the week with some festive fun, and our staff brought the holiday cheer with their fantastic outfits!
