Mississippi residents can enjoy a license-free fishing weekend this summer during National Fishing and Boating Week.
The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks said the statewide celebration will take place June 6–14. As part of the event, residents may fish without a sport fishing license on June 6 and 7, which have been set aside as Free Fishing Days.
