USS Shenandoah (AD 44) Renion 2026 Proposal

Shipmates of USS Shenandoah AD-44
Our proposed reunion is as follows:
Part 1
Friday 25 September 2026
in Shenandoah, Virginia (Museum tour and town gathering/clebration)
This allows the flexibility for people to enjoy the National Park before or after the Reunion to be held in the Shenandoah Valley.
Part 2
Saturday 26 September 2026
in Norfolk, Virginia
This allows for those people who wish to meet up in the Norfolk area to meet up with other Shipmates in Norfolk, and allows the flexibility for those that are also meeting in Shenandoah, VA the opportunity to meet up with those who are staying in Norfolk and those participating in the Carnival Cruise.

CARNIVAL SUNSHINE - 09/27/2026
Embarkation on Sunday September 27, 2026 from Norfolk, VA on Carnival Cruise Ship SUNSHINE. The itinerary will be:
Day 1: Depart Norfolk at 4:30 PM
Day 2 Fun Day at sea
Day 3 Bimini 12:00PM to 8:00 PM
Day 4 Nassau 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Day 5 Celebration Key 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Day 6 Haze grey, and Underway! er... Fun Day at Sea
Day 7 Debarkation at around 10 AM, from Norfolk, VA Cruise Terminal
We will return and debark on Saturday October 3, 2026

Cost is about $750 per person.
