United together, we are making a lasting impact ❤️

Every step taken and every dollar raised at the CHD Walk for Hope helps the Congenital Heart Defect Coalition continue its mission of supporting the CHD community.

🔬 Advancing Research
More than $1.5 million has been awarded to advance critical CHD research. Medical innovations and improved treatments are helping individuals with congenital heart defects live longer, healthier lives.

👜 Supporting Families in the Hospital
Each year, more than 500 Heart Totes are delivered to families at seven children’s surgical hospitals throughout Northern New Jersey and New York City. Filled with items to help ease a hospital stay, each tote also carries an important message: You are not alone, and there is hope.

🎓 Investing in CHD Survivors
Since the scholarship program began in 2012, the CHD Coalition has awarded $71,000 in scholarships to graduating Heart Warriors continuing their education.

🤝 Building a Stronger Community
Free Heart Family social events give parents the opportunity to connect and receive peer support while children build friendships with other CHD Warriors who understand their journey.

Where Do Your Donations Go?

When you support the CHD Walk for Hope, your donation helps advance lifesaving research focused specifically on congenital heart defects.

For the past several years, 100% of the profits from the CHD Walk for Hope have been donated to CHD research. Because of the incredible support of our families, teams, sponsors, and donors, the CHD Coalition has granted more than $1.5 million to leading research hospitals throughout the United States.

These research projects help improve:

🩺 The future of care for children and adults living with CHD
