The 2nd Annual Bill Voegler Memorial Training was a success! We want to extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who helped make this event such a tremendous success.
Thank you to our instructors, support staff, and students who dedicated countless hours to planning, preparing, and executing this event. Over the course of 12 continuous hours, participants worked through more than 50 training evolutions, challenging themselves through realistic emergency scenarios, interagency cooperation, and hands-on learning opportunities.
A special thank you to Linda Voegler for joining us and sharing words about her father before the start of training. Your presence helped remind us all why this event exists and why continuing Bill's passion for training is so important.
Also, a big thank you to all of our sponsors. Without them this event wouldn’t have been possible. Butler County Fire Chiefs Association, BC3 public safety training facility, Hovis Trucking, Shaner Automotive, Steele's Brushes and Ceramics, Renick Tree Farm Joe Pierrel Auto, Bob's Auto & Salvage, Pizza Pie, Sam’s Club, Michael Schmidt, Paula Schmidt, Krill’s Recycling, Alan Smallwood, Wulff Electric, Butler Township Volunteer Fire District Station 3, and Butler Township VFC Auxiliary.
What started just one year ago as a way to honor Bill's memory has continued to grow, bringing together departments from across Butler County and the surrounding region to train, learn, and improve together.
We are proud to continue Bill's legacy and look forward to building on this success in the years to come.
