Here's a revised schematic of veterans' graves in Bethel Cemetery - 33 in all. With Memorial Day just around the corner, we take the time and effort to recognize each with a small American flag at their gravesite. Plan to visit soon.

Memorial Day is May 25 and flags will be added to the veterans graves to commemorate their service to our country. Veterans at Bethel Cemetery have served in a number of different wars, all the way back to the American-Indian War and Civil War. We begin with Asa Ford, along the rock wall, and another Ford brother and cousin. The history here at Bethel is amazing!

A new flag presented to our cemetery from WoodmenLife- Bracken Co., KY Chapter 871 was raised this Saturday. Thank you, Bob Fogle and MaryAnn Cummins for making this happen.
The cemetery is ready for visitors this month of May. Service hours were performed by local youth to remove branches and old floral arrangements. Memorial Day weekend these same youth will return to add flags to our veterans' graves. We are grateful for this help to keep our cemetery ready for visitors.

A great crowd of supporters came out today to celebrate Bethel Cemetery’s 175th anniversary. We planted bulbs along the new fence, toured the cemetery and discovered graves of family members, and just enjoyed talking with visitors.
The fourth great granddaughter of Wm J Bradford, who deeded the land for the cemetery, was present. She discovered the graves of several of her ancestors. A number of Bradfords are buried at Bethel.
Thank you to everyone who visited. Truly a special day at Bethel.
